AREA OF INFLUENCE
The project operates in the regions of Girona and Lleida in Spain; in the French departments of Pyrénées Orientales, Haute-Garonne and Ariège; and Andorra.
Who is it aimed at?
This project is aimed at companies from various sectors, from agriculture and tourism to technology, manufacturing, services, among others, prioritizing small and medium-sized companies, freelancers and micro-enterprises that want to take a step forward by adopting practices more responsible businesses and aligned with the SDGs.

The Chambers of Commerce of Andorra, Girona, Lleida, Occitania Mediterranean Pyrenees and Eastern Pyrenees, aware of the need to create a more aware and competitive business fabric throughout the cross-border region, have joined together to develop this project.
DAYS AND EVENTS
SUSTAINABILITY OBSERVATORY
A study to understand how cross-border SMEs in the agri-food, hospitality, restaurant and retail sectors integrate the SDGs and what steps they can take to move towards more sustainable business models, with practical recommendations and improvement tools.
Study objectives
To assess the progress of companies in Occitania, Catalonia and Andorra in relation to the SDGs and define concrete action plans to help SMEs improve their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.
Sectors analysed
The Observatory focuses on three key sectors in the cross-border territory: the agri-food industry, hospitality and restaurants, and retail, analysing their progress, challenges and opportunities in sustainability.
Priority SDGs
The study identifies the most relevant SDGs for each sector, linked to food, health, water, decent work, sustainable communities, responsible consumption and climate action.
