We offer acceleration of startups, support and impetus for the growth of companies, exchange of best practices, studies, awareness and training days, training, fairs and networking.

AREA OF INFLUENCE

The project operates in the regions of Girona and Lleida in Spain; in the French departments of Pyrénées Orientales, Haute-Garonne and Ariège; and Andorra.

Who is it aimed at?

This project is aimed at companies from various sectors, from agriculture and tourism to technology, manufacturing, services, among others, prioritizing small and medium-sized companies, freelancers and micro-enterprises that want to take a step forward by adopting practices more responsible businesses and aligned with the SDGs.

SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING: WORKSHOPS, CONFERENCES AND AWARENESS SESSIONS

With a focus on the SDGs and corporate social responsibility, workshops and training sessions will be given that will help SMEs to create concrete work plans that will propel their business towards a more sustainable and competitive future. Conferences will also be held that will give tools to entrepreneurs to become more professional with experts in various topics and cases of real companies in which to be inspired.

START-UP ACCELERATOR FOCUSED ON SUSTAINABILITY

The GALOP Start-ups Accelerator offers a comprehensive methodology that includes training in business management, innovation and sustainability, together with mentoring and networking sessions. Its approach addresses key aspects such as business model definition, go-to-market optimization and team management, all while considering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). REINFORCEMENT OF THE SUSTAINABLE GROWTH OF pymes

We promote the increase in the competitiveness of SMEs by accompanying them in a process of reflection and guiding them towards innovation, specialization and the introduction of technologies. We analyze the current situation of the company in order to be able to establish a roadmap defining challenges that constitute changes within the company and proposing specific actions and tools that allow them to achieve a transition towards sustainable growth.

GALOP Self-Assessment

TRANSFER OF EXPERIENCES: CONNECTING AND INSPIRING

We seek to raise awareness of companies in the cross-border territory through two main activities: the Gallop Tours and the organization of networking events. Galop Tours are experiential trips aimed at entrepreneurs to learn about success stories in the implementation of initiatives related to the SDGs and sustainability. In addition, cross-border events will be held with experts on cutting-edge topics, which will include conferences, debates and networking activities to encourage collaboration between companies and promote competitiveness and sustainability in the territory.

SUSTAINABILITY OBSERVATORY

A study to understand how cross-border SMEs in the agri-food, hospitality, restaurant and retail sectors integrate the SDGs and what steps they can take to move towards more sustainable business models, with practical recommendations and improvement tools.

Study objectives

To assess the progress of companies in Occitania, Catalonia and Andorra in relation to the SDGs and define concrete action plans to help SMEs improve their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.

Sectors analysed

The Observatory focuses on three key sectors in the cross-border territory: the agri-food industry, hospitality and restaurants, and retail, analysing their progress, challenges and opportunities in sustainability.

Priority SDGs

The study identifies the most relevant SDGs for each sector, linked to food, health, water, decent work, sustainable communities, responsible consumption and climate action.
